Green Tea Soup Recipe

Green Tea Soup
These are the ingredients you will need for your green tea soup.
1 Lb [ pound ] black cod
8 genmaicha tea bags
0.8 oz of toasted seasoned nori
2 cups of short grain rice [ Brown ]
1 teaspoon of salt
2 small green onions
2 teaspoons of vegetable
1 teaspoon of black sesame seeds
Tamari - Japanese soy sauce or you can use soy sauce
Toasted sesame oil
Directions
1. Take a medium saucepan and bring the rice, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 4 cups of water to the boil. Place on the pan and then reduce to simmer, boil for about 45-50 munutes or until the rice is tender.
2. Cut the nori into 1/4-inch strips. Cut the green onions crosswise into quite small pieces that are sutable for soup.
3. Heat up the broiler. Rub oil on a baking sheet. Place the fish on sheet and turn over to oil both sides. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 tsp of salt. Broil 3 to 4 in. away from broiler until cooked through for about 5 minutes.
4. As soon as the rice is cooked, boil eight cups of water in a large teapot and then the hot pour water over th tea bags. Leave to brew for 5-7 minutes.
5. Add 1 cup of rice to each of 4 large soup bowls. Add the 1/2 fish fillet to each bed of rice. Pour 2 cups hot tea over each portion. Then add the green onion and black sesame seeds. Serve as soon as you can with small bowls of nori, tamari, and the sesame oil for those who want it.
